July River of Stones #1




Scattered beneath the red currants, July hail looks like giant white berries.

They do look like berries--ice berries! Is that what they make ice wine out of? : )

Terri, you are funny...but the hail was NOT. It only lasted about 5 minutes but was large in size and quantity. It put holes in my zucchini plants, took petals off the geraniums, etc. Not typical weather for Germany in July. It had been extremely hot, then rain the next day cooled things, then out of nowhere the hail. Mother Nature has surely gone hormonal.
