River of Stones - Day 16

Low rooted branches along the banks are decorated with plastic and assorted litter, a reminder of how high the river rose. One twig extends over the water, a giant white cloth dangling upon it. Memories of last week's flood are almost betrayed as I laugh, the image of a bordering tree raising a white flag just too funny.

I'm glad you can laugh about it now, Linda. There's always humor to be found... and it's so good for the soul!

Laurie, you know I love to laugh.

Barb, thank you so much for visiting my blog and commenting. Of course, I had to check out your blogs and enjoyed both very much. Your photos are breath-taking and stone 16 is my absolute favorite.

Glad to see you. I laughed, too, at the image of the poor tree surrendering. I've had days like that!
