River of Stones - Day 9

                     From
                  this perspective
                        the tree branches
              reach down,
                     gnarly wood lightning
              hitting the town.

This is such a great image. I read your words first before I looked at the image and when I saw the tree branches I grinned...exactly what you described. Wonderful.

Thanks, everyone. I go here often but never took time to see the "lightning" before. I guess my "child eyes" were open this time.

Thanks you, Jill, and thanks for visiting my blog. Are you a "January stoner" too?

Oops! That should say thank you, not thanks you. Can we somehow edit blog comments?
